this is where it happened on the map from the u.s. geological survey. it happened in a community that is still dealing with downed trees and damage and power outage from hurricane sandy. we can show you what this looks like on a different map. from google you can see it in relation to manhattan and other areas dealing with the aftermath of sandy. officials are saying a lot of people reported hearing a loud boom just before 1:30 and some upper floors of homes might have felt some shaking or objects on the walls begin it vibrate. the earthquake is said to be three miles below ground and could be felt in some other towns around ringwood. police say there are no reports of any major damage right now. last time this area had an earthquake was in february of 2010. but obviously this area is still dealing with the devastation of last week's hurricane. we are monitoring the situation and waiting to see if there will be any reports of any damage or injuries. we will make sure we pass that information to our viewers. back to you. >> we appreciate it. dulles rated
